We’re  excited to share some photos of the shop by Alison Palizzolo. Alison works in print production at the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth and  took the pictures while here on a press OK recently. There are many sides to printing and Alison really captured the physicality of our business.

New Indigo 7600

We’re excited to have our new Indigo 7600 up and running. Improvements over our last model include larger sheet size (13″ x 19″), thicker substrates (up to 0.14″) and improved print quality.

2013 PINE Awards

We are pleased to have been awarded four Pinnacle Awards at the Printing Industry of New England’s “Awards of Excellence” event. Awards were for offset printing (Peabody Essex Museum’s Ansel Adams book; Harvard University’s Department of Ophthalmology catalog; and an art catalog for Hammer galleries) and digital (BCC Sun Initiative viewbook).

NMPS in Chicago

Steve Stinehour and Michael Ames just spent three days in Chicago at the National Museum Publishing Seminar. We met a lot of new people and also reconnected with many of our long-time customers. We had a chance to attend seminars each day covering topics ranging from book design, binding, offset alternatives for small print runs, social media, and electronic publishing. It was also a great chance to see what some of our competitors have been producing in Italy, China, and throughout the U.S. Here’s our table:
