Welcome to Jake and Eric Faiola

We’re pleased to welcome Jake and Eric Faiola to Puritan Capital. As of August 1, Jake and Eric have shut down their operations at Arlington Lithograph and will be producing materials for their clients through Puritan. We are very excited to welcome them to Puritan Capital and look forward to working together in the months and years to come.

New Indigo 7600

We’re excited to have our new Indigo 7600 up and running. Improvements over our last model include larger sheet size (13″ x 19″), thicker substrates (up to 0.14″) and improved print quality.

2013 PINE Awards

We are pleased to have been awarded four Pinnacle Awards at the Printing Industry of New England’s “Awards of Excellence” event. Awards were for offset printing (Peabody Essex Museum’s Ansel Adams book; Harvard University’s Department of Ophthalmology catalog; and an art catalog for Hammer galleries) and digital (BCC Sun Initiative viewbook).

UCDA award

Congratulations to Jan Moscowitz for a Silver award at the 42nd UCDA (University and College Designers Association) Design Competition. The Montserrat viewbook package was selected from over 1,000 entries. The project printed at Puritan last fall.

Puritan hosts Daniel Dejan at MIT

This past Friday we hosted an informative talk at MIT by Daniel Dejan, Print/Creative Manager of Sappi Fine Paper. Daniel covered the numerous special effects in the Standard 5, and let us know more about QR codes, augmented reality, and other current topics. Many thanks to the staff at MIT CPS and Sappi paper for helping us pull this together.
