Thanks Michelle for the note! I’m so happy to be able to reply to the right group!!
I couldn’t agree more, although I haven’t yet seen the advance copy. I was blown away by being there on press for those few days and all I can say is it is something I will never forget – seeing all of you folks, people I didn’t know at all, working so hard to make a big beautiful book. My first book! I know it’ll never get cooler or better than this, but I hope to do more and wish it will be with lots of the same folks who produced this one!
The journey from being a college kid in Boston hearing Pearl Jam on the radio, to becoming a superfan, traveling with friends to see shows to then becoming the tour photographer and having that experience become even more insane by working on this book and now realizing it as a real thing thats going to be out in the world, is beyond mind boggling for me. I cannot thank each of you enough for all your creativity and passion and energy in making this, what was once not even a dream of mine yet, become a reality. I am so very proud of this book and all of you who produced it, making the images shine and documenting what is, by far, the COOLEST thing in my professional life. This will serve as a great document of this historic tour and the process was just so enjoyable and exciting, I can’t really even articulate how much!
Everytime I look at this book, for the rest of my life, I will think of all of you and be eternally grateful and touched by what each of you contributed. I thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, and hope that our paths will cross again one day soon.
