Sepia duotones
Printing black + Pantone 484 duotones using 10FM stochastic printing. The curves developed here are being used to reprint this book originally produced in China in the 1990s.

Digital tritones
We are now producing digital duotone and tritone projects off our HP Indigo 12000. If you have an art project but do not need a lot of books, this beautiful alternative might well be less expensive.

New press online soon
We are excited to be completing installation of our new HP Indigo 12000. This press will replace our 7900 and has more colors (seven), high definition print heads for stochastic printing, and a 20″ x 29″ sheet size. We will stock Accent, Endurance, and Monadnock Astrolite for the new press.
The 12000 will allow us to print mid-sized jobs more economically than either a smaller Indigo or our large offset presses; and with absolutely top notch quality.

Book formatting
This 400-page book, just delivered to Harvard Law School, was formatted by our in-house designer Christyann. Footnotes and Arabic make it a highly complex project.

Monadnock Award of Excellence
We’re pleased to have been awarded Monadnock Paper Mill’s Award of Excellence. This project, by Stoltze Design, printed on Astrolite PC 100 (100% post consumer waste) and has a unique binding utilizing both Smythe sewing and layflat.
From the award: “We celebrate the virtue of Achievement in the Monadnock Graphic Awards Program, recognizing projects of superior quality printed on Monadnock papers. Each quarter, the Monadnock Award of Excellence expresses our admiration for the talents of the graphic arts professionals who create fine work on our papers.”

2021 PINE Awards
We are pleased to have been awarded two Pinnacle Awards (for magazines and catalogs) as well as a Judge’s Choice Award and two additional awards for “Most Imaginative Design” and “Best Use of Substrate”.
