story Mike Dionne started running a press for his Dad's print shop before he was out of High School, and stayed there for 21 years. He came to Puritan 13 years ago when the family business closed. today Mike runs the Komori 640 Press, which can print 6 inks at once on a 40" sheet of paper. An average day could be 25,000 to 50,000 impressions. A press needs manual supervision to make sure it runs right. encounters Mike has been instrumental in the training process for new personnel. Helping someone to grasp the marriage of technology & densitometers with the human eye and ear can be challenging, but gratifying. Taking a "helper" & making him a "pressman" is great! interests- Spends all day indoors, so Mike likes to take to the great outdoors whenever he can. Jogging, bicycling, skiing and fishing. He started all this exercising late in life, but loves it. He and his family go to Maine every summer, braving the cold ocean water.
