
12.1975 Puritan Press incorporates in New Hampshire. 01.1976 We set up operations in Amherst, NH, with a 24" process camera, one 36" one-color press, a folder, stitcher, and cutter. 02.1976 We deliver first job to Boston University. 09.1976 We move to larger quarters in the Nashua Millyard, Mill No. 4, ground level.

01.1980 Expanded typesetting department (state of-the art Compugraphic equipment) moves into the wheelhouse adjoining the mill. 06.1982 We add equipment in all departments and move to a larger space in Mill Building No. 3 (formerly used to manufacture wool blankets). 09.1983 We install our first 38" two color press. 05.1987 We move into our new building in Hollis, designed to support high-quality printing — air conditioned and with enough land for an employees’ vegetable garden. No more worries about lint falling from old-fashioned ceilings.

09.1998 We start printing in full color, with the arrival of a 26" six-color press.
 12.2001 We move bindery equipment into newly-built 10,000 square-foot addition. 07.2002 Our last camera is taken to the junkyard. We add a six-color 40" press which is running two shifts after just six months.

 02.2002 We strengthen our commitment to academic printing through formalized partnerships first with Harvard University, then MIT and Tufts 06.2004 Bob Lavoie accepts promotion to Plant Manager 01.2005 More color! We install a high speed Heidelberg 4-color, perfecting 28x40 Press 03.2006 To complement our offset presses, we install our first digital press, the 6-color HP Indigo 5000
